This favorite Oregon Coast trio will debut their new acoustic mix for your dining pleasure: Start with crystal clear fidelity - add honest, resolute musicianship, douse liberally with energy and a pinch of edgy intensity. Infuse an acoustic mix with a strong influence of Deadish Dylan zest and juiced-up-bluesy-ish grooves. Grill over hot coals with a playlist that features unusual interpretations of some old favorites and obscure classics. Pepper with storytelling Oregon Coast originals. Or in dessert terminology: double shot of espresso meets dark chocolate with Cherry Garcia on top. Gary Brooker on guitar, harmonica and lead and back up vocals – has an array of guitar licks and tricks up his sleeve, from steaming hot slide guitar, to intricate finger-picking melodies, to riffs that will leave you breathless. Vallorie Hodges plays a beautiful Hofner acoustic bass with solid, spirited presence, and provides lead and backup vocals that have a raw, smoky quality. Drummer/percussionist Dan Norton plays a modified drum kit and percussion with a rare degree of finesse and creativity. In an unusual twist, Hodges and Norton trade off playing bass and percussion, for a surprising dynamic and improvisational effect. Energy, heart and a broad spectrum of sound, rhythm and style is this trio’s forte. And it is all served up with authentic family recipe home style cuisine.
