So, get some popcorn and pull up a chair, ‘cause Hog Mama has a story to tell about these musical artist’s so we might all be here for awhile…

Trust me, there is no better way to  Clean Your Plate than with…

       “Clean Slate”

One fine Day, Hogfather and his Babe were shooting a cruise down the 101 astride Hogfather’s HD Road King, looking for some “live’ groove tunes to finish up their afternoon putt, when that Big Hog veered off the main drag and just sorta slid into an open slot in front of a Groove Tune place they call the “Landmark” in Yachats. It’s was ‘happening’ in there, all right.

They stowed the helmets and gear and strolled into the joint to catch a listen to a group that was laying down some cool tunes with “a hot mix of old favorites and originals of rock, pop, and folk in a bluesy-ish yet up tempo feel with a jazzy tilt.”

They call it “Electacoustic Rock’n Dead Bluesic. Not a blues band, but bluesic, if you’re following this thread so far.

The short-cut version is that the Band was just rockin’ hot, and cool, and the Hogfather knew he wanted more of the licks they were putting out…

for a Biker Run 4 Charity he was cooking up in his own head for down the road sometime.

He knew the coolest of cool edgy breed would lap up this venue like cats with warm milk following a couple hours run on a cold afternoon astride their own iron horses in the wind.

His Babe threw down some coin, snagged their latest CD and noted the name ‘CLEAN SLATE” on the cover. Giving it the 60’s San Francisco music scene nod of appreciation.

She purred a little in their direction trying to get them signed for the biker gig cause she knew their groove thang was “the One” they craved for all the other alley cat’s who’d be revving it up and strutting their stuff at the first annual ‘Adventure Run 4 kids’.

Well some unforeseen ‘date dancing’ and missed cues ended up with the CLEAN SLATE appearing somewhere else…but the craving for their sound never stopped so the CD got some good wear and tear while they waited for another opportunity.

Now, you don’t have to be a Hogfather, Hog Mama, a Biker, a Rider or even geared up in leathers to dig this Group to the Max… it will just come natural to you from the minute they let the music loose from their souls to your ears.

So, we’d like you to come join us old Hog Lovers for a few hours ‘walk on the wild side live’ for a CLEAN SLATE experience of your very own to write home about.

You can walk in, ride in, slip in or crawl in, but don’t miss this venue cause we’ve got IT ALL dialed in for you so good, you should be thinking..

“Hog Heaven” right about now, and that is good.

Cause, We know where you live.

While you’re hogging down the good stuff, CLEAN SLATE will make sure you end this spectacular evening at HOGFATHER’S with one big “WOW”, guaranteed.

Gary Brooker will be strokin’ acoustic/electric guitar or blowing strong on harmonica, doin’ vocals and a modified djembe kick/shaker; while Vallorie Hodges plays bass, delivers hot vocals, jingles, tambourine and cabassa. Dan Norton, the newest artist in the Group, gives up the percussion, drums and bass.

Each musical artist on this venue will be playing some form of percussion, and mixing it up with drums and the occasional double bass.

Sure, it’s deliciously unique and unconventional all right, but it’s also an ‘addictive groove’ that takes music to another level.

Take it from the Hogfather, you’re going to get hooked on CLEAN SLATE…so you’ve been warned.

These performing veterans are also professional sound wizards using excellent gear to create excellent sound fidelity for your listening enjoyment…and just between you and me, a lot of local bands would do well to have these wizards mix their own CD releases in their recording studio. I’m just saying…

This is slick cookin’ all around…and Hog Mama might even roll in on her own purring Road King Smoothie Trike, cause “I’m a Giver”.

So, get your motor running, head out on the highway…we’re giving ya ‘adventure’ and whatever comes our way…cause we were born to be wild on

Friday Night, 6 pm, February 16 at HOGFATHER’S

“Almost Famous” DINNER THEATER…

Oh Yeah Baby, we’re ALL Giving it up… for YOU.
